Evening Intensive Outpatient Program

Treating the disease of addiction can take several approaches.  Depending on the individual and his or her unique set of circumstances, extended residential treatment may not be the most appropriate option.  Some clients need to maintain employment, others must comply with the rulings of the judicial system or other agreements, and still others may have only a limited time frame available for treatment.  Bridging The Gaps’ Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (EIOP) may be the solution to these unique scenarios.

This EIGHT WEEK program, which is held at our treatment facility in Winchester, Virginia, meets:

  • 3 Days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • 3 Hours each day (6:15pm – 9:15pm)

Our EIOP is a multi-disciplined program offering a variety of services to meet the individual needs of chemically dependent clients.  The format includes:

  • Comprehensive assessment
  • Substance abuse education
  • Group process counseling
  • Weekly individual counseling
  • Family program

There is also a strong educational component on nutrition, diet, and exercise to ensure a healthy approach to management of the disease and, ultimately, long-term recovery.  12-Step Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings or other  recovery support programs are mandatory for all clients.
