What do you treat?

Clients come to us when they have drug and alcohol addictions We address secondary mental illness diagnosis (depression, anxiety), however we don't treat severe mental illness.
How are you different?
Our name says it: we "bridge the gaps" between traditional treatment modalities and integrative or alternative modalities. Our goal is to give our clients all the tools they need for their toolbox in order to lead a healthy life of recovery.  < TOP >

 

What are your programs?

They are all here on the website but in a nutshell: we have a Primary treatment with gender specific supportive residential housing for people who have had little or no addictions treatment, and an intensive residential program for people who have successfully completed primary treatment within the past several months.    < TOP >

 

Can I come for less time?

No, we only accept clients who commit to the full program. Primary treatment lasts a minimum of four to six weeks and Intensive Residential treatment lasts a minimum of eight weeks.    < TOP >

 

 

What do you provide?

All clients of BTG receive a clinical assessment and a history and physical prior to entering our programs. Clients receive individual and group counseling, biochemical/nutritional education and counseling, oral and IV (intravenous) nutrient therapy and acu-detox.    < TOP >

 

 

What should I bring?

You should bring your own personal products. Please leave heavily perfumed items at home. In order to completely focus on treatment, clients are not permitted to bring computers or laptops, cell phones or blackberries, IPODS, or portable CD or cassette players. Clients at BTG are not permitted to drive a vehicle while in treatment. In accordance with our treatment philosophy no sugar or caffeine are to be consumed in any of our facilities or vehicles. Clients are currently permitted to smoke in designated smoking areas outside all BTG facilities.    < TOP >

 

 

What is the cost?

When is payment due?

Payment is due upon admission via cash, check or most major credit cards.    < TOP >

 

 

Will my insurance cover my treatment at BTG?

Most insurance plans have benefits for “mental health/substance abuse treatment” and will reimburse for some portion of your treatment at BTG. We accept most PRIVATE insurance; however we are not in network with any insurance plans. At this time, we are unable to accept Medicare or Medicaid. Our staff will be happy to verify your insurance coverage, file claims and follow-up with the insurance company on your behalf.    < TOP >

 

 

How do we get to BTG?

Please see the Facilities page for directions or you may call BTG toll free at 866-711-1234 or locally at 540-535-1111 and we will be happy to direct you. Keep in mind that clients are not permitted to drive their vehicles while in treatment at BTG.    < TOP >

 

 

I am not calling for myself.

We can give you information, and gather the necessary information from you, however we prefer to speak directly to the client and he/she needs to be willing and ready to enter our treatment program.    < TOP >

 

 

What is the assessment for?

Our clinical assessment and history and physical will determine your appropriateness for BTG and BTG’s appropriateness for you.    < TOP >

 

 

Once I'm admitted, can my family visit?

Our clients are able to receive visitors after they have completed one full week of treatment. Clients must make arrangements with the House Manager three days prior to the day of visitation.    < TOP >

 

 

Can I make phone calls while I am in residence?

Yes, but only at designated times from the house phone. We don't permit cell phones or laptops during treatment, and you must arrange to be away from your business. The focus of your stay at BTG is healing and recovery.    < TOP >

 

 

Can other people call me?

Your privacy is protected under State and Federal law, so clients must complete and sign authorization forms upon intake for each person they authorize BTG to speak to, otherwise BTG may not acknowledge that you are with us. You are free to give the client phone number to close family members.    < TOP >

 

 

Will I have my own room?

No. We believe that it's better for you to be part of the BTG community. Each bedroom accommodates two people.    < TOP >

 

 

Is there aftercare?

Yes, we offers and strongly recommend our Continuing Care program on Thursday evenings to clients who have successfully completed our programs; and clients can continue individual counseling as well.    < TOP >

 

 

What about a weekly family program?

BTG offers a Family Program for all families of current clients. Addiction is a family disease so we encourage family members to take part in this important program.    < TOP >
