Treating The Spirit for Long-term Recovery from Addiction

At BTG, our integrative treatment programs are designed to treat the whole person simultaneously. Along with treating the mind and the body, we also address the SPIRIT by offering our clients a variety of opportunities to develop spiritual tools that aid in enjoying long-term recovery. These spiritual modalities may include:
- Meditation – Daily meditation helps our clients handle the stress that is an inevitable part of life and that can sabotage recovery. Meditation is a tool that clients are encouraged to use when they leave treatment.
- Yoga – Yoga is a powerful stress reliever and a good physical workout.
- Reiki – This ancient Tibetan form of energy healing provides both physical and emotional benefits. After these sessions, BTG clients report feelings of harmony, stress reduction, pain relief, relaxation, and/or energy recharging.
- 12-Step Program - Our clients attend at least one AA/NA meeting a day and are required to have a temporary sponsor by the end of their first 30 days of treatment.
