PRIMARY CARE
Our programs include day treatment and intensive outpatient treatment, with the availability of supportive residential housing. A typical treatment day for Primary Care clients includes: Acu-detox, a form of acupuncture which aids in the healing process, followed by a short period of quiet in which each client is encouraged to meditate and reflect; an educational session, focusing on a variety of topics that include nutrition, brain chemistry and the disease concept of addiction; an interactive group therapy session; and a highly nourishing noon meal, with each client assisting in its preparation. All Bridging the Gaps clients attend a 12-step meeting each day. Each BTG client will have a minimum of one individual session with their Addictions Counselor and Nutritionist each week. Our Primary Care Program ranges from six to eight weeks, with treatment currently offered Monday through Friday.
