Phase I
Establishing Physical & Emotional Sobriety
The first phase of the BTG program is focused on physical and emotional stabilization. Throughout a client’s course of treatment, a variety of treatment modalities are offered including:
- Multiple daily group therapeutic sessions
- Weekly individual counseling sessions
- Individualized intravenous and oral nutritional therapy
- Individualized neurofeedback sessions
- Psycho-educational sessions on the physiological, psychological, social, familial, and spiritual aspects of the disease of addiction and life in recovery
- Acupuncture detoxification services
- Ongoing medical care from our medical team
- Healthy and nutrient-dense diet (caffeine and sugar-free)
- Nutritional education
- Physical fitness and massage
- 12 step meetings
- Meditation and stress management
- Reiki sessions
- Family psycho-education and conjoint sessions
Bridging the Gaps’ Phase I components provide:
- assistance to each client in breaking destructive relationships with mood-altering substances and other potential cross addictions
- opportunities to develop tools for effective relapse prevention
- education on and opportunities to develop healthy coping skills to successfully navigate cravings and triggers
- an individualized treatment plan to help the client meet their needs and goals
- weekly client-centered individual counseling session including therapeutic services, ongoing treatment planning, case management services, and discharge planning
