SAMHSA Provides The First Government Regulated Treatment Locator

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), has officially established the first government run treatment locator!

Through the SAMHSA homepage,  you can find a redirection to this website https://findtreatment.gov/. This is a free tool available for those who are seeking substance abuse help, and trying to narrow their scope of options. Instead of a Google search which can be daunting, this website generates a list of closest substance abuse recovery treatment centers. It also lists other related resources. Not only can you search for treatment centers, you can also learn more about addiction and mental health.

This helpful resource for families and individuals can easily help connect them to other resources. This will not only impact where they find the help they need, but the healing found in the recovery process.

If you or someone you know is struggling with the grip or addiction, https://findtreatment.gov/ may be a valuable resource for you.
