Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Programs
Bridging the Gaps is committed to providing high-quality and cost-effective services for those with substance abuse. Our intensive outpatient programs for substance abuse are designed as part of our continuum of care. When you talk to our admissions director, you will be asked a series of questions to help determine the appropriate program for your individual needs.
Intensive outpatient programs are a fraction of the cost of Residential Treatment programs. This more affordable option can be a viable solution for many who have the appropriate structure and family support at home. We offer a variety of programs designed to meet your needs. Bridging the Gaps is committed to helping all people who suffer from substance use disorders find the treatment services they deserve. If you’re looking for non-residential addiction treatment, our intensive outpatient programs for substance abuse could be the right option for you.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Half-Day Structured Program
Bridging the Gaps recognizes that different people require different options for care. Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program is part of an ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective, and comprehensive services designed to meet a range of client needs.
IOP provides structured and supportive treatment for individuals whose needs and circumstances may allow them to realize positive outcomes in a more flexible, non-residential setting. IOP will enable individuals to receive effective treatment modalities and personalized support. With minimal disruption to everyday life, individuals can achieve this in their community.
BTG offers the following treatment options for the IOP level of care:
- Five days a week 8:15 am – 12:00 pm
- Three days a week 8:15 am – 12:00 pm
The Intensive Outpatient Program Includes:

- Individualized treatment plan to help the client meet their treatment goals
- Weekly individual counseling sessions
- Psycho-educational sessions on the physiological, psychological, social, familial, and spiritual aspects of the disease of addiction and life in recovery
- Psycho-education on living skills, healthy coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies

Support from Family
In our intensive outpatient rehab programs, clients continue to live at home while engaging in treatment. For some, continuing to live in an environment that is considered comfortable and familiar can be reassuring.
Since people typically draw comfort from the people they live with, support from family members can be beneficial throughout the client’s recovery process. Substance abuse intensive outpatient programs allow a level of flexibility necessary for many who are required to deal with day-to-day responsibilities while they obtain care for their addictions.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program - Telehealth Rehab
Virtual intensive outpatient programs are now available at Bridging the Gaps. Take part in Bridging the Gaps’ full IOP program (excluding acudetox) from your home. You will be invited to join your peers through a secure online platform. Please contact our admissions director to learn more about whether a virtual IOP program is right for you.
In response to the pandemic, Bridging the Gaps has started to offer addiction outpatient treatment on a secure telehealth platform. Our qualified team can help you to determine if this is an appropriate treatment option for you or your loved one.
Telehealth rehab has been designed so that you can join our group sessions from home. You will be able to take part in our education sessions, group therapy, living skills, big book, and individual therapy online.
