Our personalized program combines cutting-edge modalities like amino acid therapy with traditional methods such as psychotherapy and AA/NA meetings. Nutrition is paramount, with customized menus designed by our staff nutritionist to meet the unique needs of early recovery. FAQs

Find answers to commonly asked questions about addiction and recovery.

  • How soon can I begin treatment?

The timeline for entering treatment varies based on several factors, such as the necessity for medical detox, bed availability, and clinician availability. Our team is committed to ensuring a swift intake process while maintaining the high standards of care we promise. For clients who do not require medical detox, we typically manage to begin treatment within a week of the initial contact. However, each case is assessed individually to determine the specific timeline.

  • Do you provide detox services on-site?

We do not offer on-site medical detox. Should you need detoxification services, we will refer you to a suitable facility nearby. After completing detox, you are welcome to join us at BTG for further residential and continuing care.

  • What if I am unable to afford treatment?

If financial constraints are an issue, we can refer you to a facility that accommodates Medicaid or provides more affordable options. For existing BTG clients facing payment difficulties or insurance issues, we offer a financial hardship scholarship to ensure your treatment continues uninterrupted.

  • How long does the treatment process last?

Treatment duration is tailored to each individual's unique needs. Instead of setting a fixed number of days, we focus on developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns best with your recovery goals.

  • Are private rooms available?

To foster community and support, we do not recommend private rooms. Addiction often leads to isolation; therefore, pairing clients with roommates is a practice we encourage to help integrate them into a supportive living environment.

  • Can I smoke while in treatment?

Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas. However, we prohibit the use of chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, vapes, and Juuls on our premises.

  • Do you offer Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT)?

At BTG, we support the use of medications for specific, individualized purposes. While we do not use maintenance medications like Suboxone or Methadone, we do utilize short-term Suboxone for comfortable withdrawal and Naltrexone to help manage cravings. Our approach integrates various treatments, including amino acid therapy, AcuDetox, psychotherapy, and spiritual practices to achieve holistic, sustainable recovery.

  • What are the visitation policies?

Visitation is available from 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturdays. To be eligible for a visit, attendees must participate in our family education session on Wednesday evenings.
