Our name reflects the genesis of our philosophy. Our story began in 2000 with the pursuit of a simple, but slightly revolutionary, idea: that substance abuse treatment can be better, and that most “traditional” treatment models had been letting clients down for years.
In pursuit of a new approach, we built a pioneering program that “bridges the gap” between those traditional treatment models that solely addressed the psychological and spiritual aspects of addiction and alternative therapeutic modalities that treat the physiological components of substance abuse. The refreshed logo encapsulates our unique approach to addiction treatment that builds a bridge to transformation and recovery.
Our philosophy is grounded in the understanding that addiction is a complex disease that needs a holistic, integrative approach to support individuals in finding true freedom in recovery. We understand how physiological cravings contribute to mental and emotional highs and lows that drive individuals to seek relief through substances.
From the beginning, we have recognized addiction as a disease of the brain that results largely from neurological “mis-firings” and chemical deficiencies. Over the years the treatment industry has grown, and the physiological aspect of addiction has become better known, understood, and studied.
