Your Treatment Our Priority

Determining the right treatment can be difficult. It is important to assess your options with a professional to conclude which trajectory would best support your recovery. Figuring out the track that would offer you the solid foundation you need is what we are here for. Our varying levels of care and multitude of modalities are individualized to provide for you the best care and best healing.

Whether you are seeking treatment for yourself or a loved one, we have got you covered. In determining the level of care you need, we begin with an initial assessment. One of our licensed clinicians will first conduct a full assessment with you. This allows us to render clearer picture of your individual needs. Together, we help you assess the benefits of inpatient verses outpatient care, to design a uniquely individualized treatment plan. This is a vitally important part of the intake process. Determining the level of care that is appropriate for each individual’s needs is fundamental in the larger process. It is important to also note, what one desires is not always what is needed. Along with our clinicians, informed decisions of how to best support healing from the chaos that addiction brings.

Inpatient also referred to as residential treatment, provides structure and stabilization with 24 hour 7 days care. Clients receive the consistent support required to aid their recovery journey. In the residential environment, clients are able to remove themselves from the distractions of life and unhealthy environments, and reside in one of our residences. We have a 3 phased residential outlay that allows individuals to slowly integrate themselves back into the community in healthy ways. The community living helps guide the healing process while also growing a supportive peer community. Clients attend NA/AA meetings together, cook meals, and enjoy sober weekend activities with one another.

The initial phase of residential treatment is stabilization; getting a person standing up on their feet again. Education is also an important part of this first phase. Educating our clients on some of the foundational concepts of the disease is a vital step in the process of fighting the battle. Learning how to fight comes from understanding first what it is that you are fighting. In residential care, IV amino acids and nutrition play another important role in this phase for stabilization. The IVs assist in the detoxification process and serve as building blocks at the molecular level. Additionally, enhancing one’s cooking skills through hands on experiences and learning foundational nutritional principles is necessary. In re acclimating one to healthy balance internally, an individual can begin healing. The second phase addresses one’s core issues while simultaneously allowing individuals some freedom to experience life. Residentially, this phase is quite different in that one is provided a little more room to grow. In the initial phase clients are growing their roots to help stabilize them. In this second phase, clients are breaking through the surface level of things and digging a little deeper. The shift to Phase II housing structure allows individuals to gain more responsibility and autonomy in their recovery process. The third phase allows the client to taper their treatment. At this phase clients have an option of continuing to live within the Bridging the Gaps Housing continuum. We offer a peer-run sober living house that affords the client the opportunity to continue treatment. Other clients may choose to move into an Oxford House or move home at this stage. While in this phase clients will begin looking for part-time work as they integrate into the community and continue attending half-day treatment. The fourth phase provides the client with long-term care in order to “Support and maintain long-term sobriety through peer support and a healthy and positive environment”. At this stage of treatment, clients have typically returned to work full-time and attend one individual session and one group session per week.

Outpatient services provide care to individuals who engage in treatment while remaining in their own home environment. This provides for flexibility in scheduling that allows for one to remain at work, school, or care for family, while continuing to receive support. Our outpatient programming operates with a 3 program design: PHP IOP and OP (aftercare). PHP, Partial-hospitalization is a day treatment with full clinical days. This is the highest level of outpatient care in which an individual experiences full immersion into our daily programming. IOP or Intensive outpatient is the next level of care in which individuals attend our programming for our morning sessions. Aftercare is our lowest level of care and involves one individual session and one group session per week. While outpatient programming allows for flexibility, it may not always be deemed most appropriate. Your recovery is our priority so determining a higher level of care may arise as we seem fit for the early stages of stabilization.

Your recovery is not to be segmented. All of our services are intended to meet you where you are and provide individualized care to meet your needs. We also provide support to families and friends of loved ones in recovery. We believe in quality, individualized care. We believe in our philosophy. We also believe what we do truly works.
